July 4th

Here are the boys (bad pic of Jonas, but oh well) on their nifty patriotic bikes. We're getting ready to head down to the parade. (I'll post later on the return of the training wheels.)

Here they are waiting for the parade to begin. A pretty lame parade, but the kids don't know any better and they quite enjoyed it. My favorite part were the planes fly-bys. Very cool.

We spent the rest of the afternoon hanging out with our good friends. It was a perfect afternoon filled with lots and lots of great food, visiting, and children playing. Ben and I even got to hold the new little baby, Willa. Lovely indeed.

Splish splash.

We all took late afternoon naps - we got the kids up at 6:30pm! We did that so we'd all make it for the fireworks. It was the first time the kids had ever seen them. It really was a great firework show with a great Grand Finale. A lot of fun and the boys really liked it.

Emmy enjoyed it somewhat. She basically spent her time crawling over everybody. Silly girl.

Yea, July 4th! Come back again next year!
