Saturday

We left early - 4:30am. We wanted to beat a winter storm over the mountain passes and thought this would be the best time to head out. It actually worked out great as the kids all fell back asleep by 5:30 and then slept until 7. How perfect is that? We got to my parent's house at 10:30 - right as the storm came. It wasn't a big, huge storm - but I was glad I didn't have to be driving in it over the mountains.

First things first: come downstairs, make a huge mess, then play some air hockey. The boys were actually able to play against each other. Pretty fun.

We spent the afternoon playing in the snow. Their wasn't a ton of snow, but enough to sled down the little hill. We all had fun - except Emmy that is.
