We turned the finished part of the basement into the kids' playroom. Ben and I spent almost 4 hours on Thursday priming it. Then on Friday I spent 4-5 hours painting, then another few hours on Saturday doing our last coat. It consumed us this weekend, but we were lucky enough to have still caught 4/5 sessions of conference. So it was a good weekend.
Anyways, I forgot to get an actual "before" picture of the basement. I did get this though:

Thus the kids can play while I work on things. At least, that's the ideal. But, yes, the desk is another project that I have. I am going to paint it white and then mod podge on fabric. We'll see how that turns out. . .

Looks like a great playroom! Painting is SO much work - I am impressed. I have lived in my house for over 2 years and have only painted one room. I'm sure your kids will love it!
