June Stuff

Well now that July is almost over, it's time to catch up on June . . . (No doubt they will be all out of order and jumbled . . . Blogger isn't as user-friendly as it used to be . . . )

I went on a great hike with friends, Molly and Melissa. We hiked to Hope Lake and it was lovely.

Miles submitted his art in a local Art Show. I really thought he would win something. He thought he wouldn't. He was sadly right. I was mad. Ha.

Lucy and Ben went to Trek. Ben served as medical. Both had a really great time and thought it was well-done. Here's Lucy enjoying the dance with her good friend Gavin.

Good thing she was wearing shorts underneath those skirts. :)

This was part of the women's pull. Ben was literally surprised at how steep the hill was. Nice job ladies.

More of the women's pull.

And yet again.

Lucy with part of her family.

Lucy's family.

Lucy's family a bit more dirty . . .

The hike to Hope Lake.

The three of us - Molly started the picture in panoromic mode and once she passed me, I ran over and started where she left out. Shocker that it actually worked!

Pretty flowers. . .

I love a beautiful hike with beautiful friends!

Trek, Before. We missed the after (and way more dirty) picture.

We've been taking Gordon, and sometimes all three dogs, to the Dog Park. It's actually great. But silly Gordon likes to splash out all the water in the water bowl and then get his body in it. What a goof.

Miles and some of his roommates spent a long weekend at Mack's. Jonas even joined them! They had a great time!

Brigham got a foxtail and Ben took lots of care and even did minor "surgery" on him a time or two. But it still just wasn't healing and so we finally got him some antibiotics and put him in the dreaded Cone of Shame. It all worked and he healed up!

Brigham turned 11 on June 5th! Kudos to Bella and her pig-like focus on the food . . . We sure love Brigham, even if he's getting to be a stinky and funny-looking old dog.

Lucy and Ruby have enjoyed going together on a few hikes this summer. This was up Courthouse. Sadly, a few weeks later it was part of the Gold Mountain Fire . . .

June!
