Jonas had a pretty good year. He participated in STUCO (which he loved) and ended up making the jazz band (a try-out band) for his 7th grade year.
I made candy grams for each of them. I'll post them here to I can remember next year what I did this year. :)
Lucy,
Even though you were one of the *RUNTS* in your class, your
brain made up for it! You are so smart
and did so well in all your subjects!
Not only are you super smart, you are also super nice and were friends
with all your classmates – whether they be named *MARY* or *JANE* You were friends with everyone! You loved having your mom come in every
Tuesday, even though she had to take a little break when she got sick. During mom’s
sickness, you thought her face looked like a *PEANUT* which was a really good
description! You were about the cutest *TROLL* there ever was for
Halloween. As you continue to be super
smart and super kind, you will definitely *BLOW* us all away!
Emmy
Another year finished at Northside! It wasn’t always
so *PEACHY* as there was A LOT (A TON) of drama with the
girls in your grade. But hopefully you’ll learn
from this and learn what being a good friend is all about! You amazed us all as you reached for *GOLD* at your
state competition and were soooo close – wining 3rd in
all-around!!! You continued with your
yearly (forever) tradition of having many, many *CRUSHES* In fact, you had a few “boyfriends” this year
– until you wised up and just decided to be friends with boys instead. You rocked your practice 5k – winning
first! For the real 5K, you ran the
whole time and beat your time from last year!
You could be a *BIT O’ HONEY* at times, and a bit of sour
spunk at other times. As you focus more
on your “sweet”
personality, you will no doubt *BLOW* us all away!
Jonas,
You finished up your first year of middle school! And even though you told quite a few *WHOPPERS* to your
parents this past year, they still love you and know you are a great kid! You like to make people laugh and often told
the family new jokes you learned – including the one “Your mom
is so dumb that when she got sick she went to see
*DR. PEPPER* ” Or something like that . . . You were supposed to have your big 12th
birthday party – but, unfortunately the *SNO CAPS* didn’t have
enough snow! We’ll try
again next year! You were active in your
school – being on STUCO and in band (plus, you made Jazz band next year –
wow!).One of your biggest highlights just happened – getting an adorable pug
puppy! Even though she’s full of
*NIPS* you
love her and she loves you! Be your best
self, Jonas, and you’ll *BLOW* us all away!
Miles,
You finished up 8th grade – your last year of
middle school! You proved you were no *BUTTERFINGER* on the
gaga court – even sometimes winning. You
were good enough to make some kids even target you to get you out! Although we asked you about the *CHICKS* in your
classes, you never had much to tell us.
You attempted some *FLIPZ* on the wrestling mats – and even
succeeded in pinning an opponent or two.
There were so many *GOOD & PLENTY* things you accomplished
– from being STUCO co-president to achieving two awards: the Presidential Academic award and the
Academic Excellence award in Science.
Way to go Miles, we know you’ll
continue to *BLOW* us all
away!

Your candygrams are actually personal! Mine are just, "hmmm...what can I say with this huge lot of candy I bought?" Ha.
