Utah - Again!

Well we went back to Utah - we wanted to see my sister and her family before they head back east (sniff, sniff). Plus, the boys were trying to get together with some of their OFY friends. The OFY thing didn't totally work out - but they were able to meet up with two other kids and still had a super fun afternoon. We were going to bring Aiden, the boys' friend from here who went to OFY with them, but he decided to break his foot two days before we left . . . Bummer for everyone!

But Utah and family was awesome, as always.
Driving out wasn't the most fun though . . . but at least our car didn't blow up! But someone's car did (luckily they were all okay) and it made us sit in our car for over half of an hour. We had a few more traffic stops which were lame, but we made it to Utah by 10pm. My parents were there - but Erin and Chuck and kids were still up in Idaho.

The next we headed to Provo's Summit Splash. A super-fun water park. My kids had never been to one so it was pretty awesome for them.
This ride was super-sketchy! It made me sick - both before and during. And a little shaky afterwards, ha. But I'm old. The kids all did it again. :)

The kids like this ride as well - fun to race everyone!

This was a crazy one that the boys talked to the girls in to doing. :) They all loved it - well the girls loved/hated it. :)

The kids finished up their day by going down the craziest ride of all - the blue one. The boys had already done it and somehow convinced the girls to do it. Which they did. They again loved it - with the girls loving/hating it. I did rides for about the first half of the time there. Then I was bored, ha. Water stuff just isn't my thing. But I was glad the kids had an awesome time.

My sister and her family were home when we got back and so that was fun to see them again. Apparently Bella was scared of Bruno upon first meeting him. Then she barked at him the rest of the evening. After she got that out of her system, she would just calmly follow him around . . . Silly dogs.

On Saturday the girls and Everett and Oliver went to the pool. Our boys meet a couple other OFY friends at Deer Creek Reservoir (which was soooo close to my parents') and went kayaking and paddle boarding. They had a fantastic time.
Lilly, Jonas, Miles, and London.

Derek had bought another one wheel and was kind enough to let all the nieces and nephews use it until he gets it. The kids had a blast on it - they so LOVE the one wheel. Jonas had a big crash on it once (going too fast probably), but that happens.

Lucy working on her turns - her 10-point turn. :) The boys had a blast, too, and were getting really quite good at riding it!

(Ugh, Blogger has some new formatting and it's making it nearly impossible for me to move around my pics . . . so now they are all randomly mixed. Ugh, it drives me crazy!)

Cousins having fun playing outside.
Cousins having fun playing inside.
Jonas' knee wound.
Cool cousins.
Adorable dog cousins.

More playing outside with cousins.

Bella being nice to Everett.

Emmy loving the one wheel.
The kids took Bella to the dog park - fun!
More of Jonas' crash . . .

I am glad we could go and have fun. Oliver had a birthday on Sunday and so we got to do some celebrating with him - including eating yummy birthday cake. My dad took my kids on a cool drive on his toy on Friday morning. My mom started her Census job and hemmed Miles' pants. And we got to see the Hubands before they drive 30+ hours back home . . . . boohoo.

So glad you documented mom's hemming of pants. HAHAHA.

I love seeing the kids get so good on the onewheel.
