A LOT

Yep, June ended while we were having a great time in Yellowstone and Idaho. We came back to Utah on the 3rd of July and enjoyed the Stadium of Fire. It was a blast.

We saw parachuters with flags jumping out of the sky, Collin Ray and Lee Grinwood were there to sing for us, Nitro Circus (Jonas has followed them for the past year on Instagram and all my kids loved them) did their crazy motorcycle act, plus there was a great fireworks show. It was really an awesome July 4th event!!

That Monday we took the boys to SLC and they got a bus back up to Idaho - to spend the rest of the week at OFY. We took the girls to BYU and dropped them off for gymnastics camp, where they stayed and slept in the dorms. They had a blast of a week - doing gym all day, eating at the Cannon Center, and doing fun activities in the evening. They LOVED their counselor and just had a fabulous time. Emmy's two friends from gym were also there - Reese and Kiera. Lucy made a lot of new friends and so they all just had a ton of fun.

The rest that follows are just random pics from the boys' OFY experience. They once again LOVED it.

Their beloved counselor from last year - who was gone all week but showed up 15 minutes before they were to leave.

Ben and I's week as "empty nesters" was full of both of us working all day and then mostly mowing the kids' lawn jobs all evening. :) We did manage to go out to a fancy dinner on Friday and so that was fun! Then I was back to Utah on Saturday and we all drove home Sunday. We went to an outdoor theater production of "7 Brides for 7 Brothers" in Midway on Saturday evening and it was really super. By the time we came home, Emmy had been gone for 20 days. Wow! What fun summer adventures we all had - especially the kids!
